Kate received her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law. She has practiced as a sole practitioner, and also served for over 17 years as the District Magistrate Judge in Cloud County, Kansas. Kate recently retired from the Kansas Attorney General’s office, where she led the Consumer Protection and Antitrust Division.

Her focus in private practice is civil litigation and probate and estate planning. Kate is also mediator certified in domestic and parent/adolescent mediation. When Kate isn't working, her favorite pastime is spending time with her grandchildren.
