Silas Minkevitch
Associate Attorney at Law
Silas P. Minkevitch is from the small town of Newton, Kansas, and grew up working on his grandparent’s farm.
Silas graduated as president of his senior class in high school and quickly joined the Kansas Army National Guard out of Newton, KS because he wanted to give back to his community.
After attending one station unit training in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Silas went on to attend Pittsburg State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Automotive Technology; emphasis in Diesel and Heavy equipment, with a Minor in Military Science.
Silas has worked for fortune 500 companies such as Caterpillar, AGCO, and Kiewit. After working in the Diesel and Heavy Equipment field for a few years, Silas decided to pursue his legal degree at Washburn University School of Law and in May 2021 he graduated with Dean’s Honors.
He then joined CAD Law in August of 2021. His focus is Misdemeanor, Traffic and DUI cases. He also handles all types of family law matters, including paternity, divorce, child custody and child support, adoption, and PFA/PFS cases.
In addition to his legal practice, he is still an active member of the Kansas Army National Guard and currently serves as the Commander of Charlie Battery 1-161st Field Artillery out of his hometown of Newton, K.S.
